Chocolate Flower Necklace tutorial....

Aug 20, 2010

so.... i have been out of town for nearly the whole summer and my poor sweet talented sis Sophie might go nuts if i don't post...
p.s. great work Sophie!!

here she is (as promised)
The Chocolate Flower Necklace
tutorial....
supplies;

  • vinyl/ leather looking fabric scraps (or thick textured fabric)
  • matching felt
  • matching thread
  • chain
  • scissors
  • glue gun
  • sewing needle

cut yourself 2 "v" shapes out of felt
make some cute petals six flowers (3 large and 3 small) six petals each
i cut rectangles first and then trim the corners

i put the flowers together the same way i did it for "fancy flip flops"

i sewed them to the felt, the three big ones in the center with 2 little ones on the outside with one stacked on top of the center one, you can use the last pic as your guide (you might be able to just glue them on :) )
sew your chain onto the back

make a felt-glue-felt sandwich keeping the chain in the center...

all done!
show me yours!

Howdy this is kinda of off topic but I was wanting to know
if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.
I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!

Fantastic blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers?

I'm hoping to start my own website soon but I'm a little lost on
everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like Wordpress or
go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I'm completely overwhelmed .. Any suggestions? Thank you!
