3 yards, 3 dollars, 3 jackets....

Apr 15, 2011

 so i am so super freaking cheap that i only buy things from the AS-IS room at Ikea... i know you are thinking, gosh Ikea already has great prices whats your problem cheap-o! turns out once you find just one ridiculous deal, you can never go back... NEVER!

i found this 3 yard piece of striped fabric in the bottom of a bin, it was used in a display, so it was marked down to 3 bucks... not 3 bucks a yard, 3 freakin bucks! not only that but it was a 60 incher! that means a good 12 inches wider than your typical cut of fabric... i nearly passed out!

so out came my 99 cent simplicity patterns... woot woot!

 {dont ask about that face, i don't know why..}

it pays to be cheap!

  10. Okay, so it "pays to be cheap", but it also pays to be talented. Seriously. Patterns scare me.

    P.S. - I concur, but prefer the term "frugal" to cheap. ;)

  15. Love the jackets....and I fully admit to being cheap too. I only buy patterns at the 99 cent sales....and 50 cents at DI and savers. And you totally scored on that fabric!
