is it too early to wish it was spring?

Jan 10, 2011

The other day I was driving home and I slipped on the road... the middle of the road... driving STRAIGHT!
I screamed loud the entire time my car slid in slow motion first to the right then veering to the left, barely missing a telephone pole by one foot and running over a small tree that was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

My husband was not too far away so he quickly came to my rescue.
I didn't even have to step in the knee deep snow, which is great cause heals aren't good snow shoes.
My Hero...Sigh.

I'm wishing for spring.

  2. I absolutely love everything about this outfit.
I'm glad you are okay. I live in the pacnorthwest, so we don't get snow. It sounds very scary.

And NO it's not too early to wish for spring...especially after our scary car experiences.

Your thrifted dress is lovely. The Sisters have the cutest clothes! :)

  7. Glad your hero came to the rescue! What a sweet end to a {I'm guessing} freaky incident.

Just discovered your blog, thanks to the Clothed Much linky party, and can't wait to explore a little.

  10. Oh, it's NEVER too early. I personally try to keep my summer-lust away through the end of December; once Christmas is out of the way, the snow should melt and the flowers should blossom. No delay.

Way to go on look comfy and polished at the same time, especially for $21.50 total! That's talent! I think it's the print of that dress that I'm loving so much. Points to you.

(PS - I found your blog through Clothed Much's Rule Breaker thing, and I will DEFINITELY be back for more! As a girl who hoped and prayed her whole childhood for a sister - and was only rewarded with four brothers - I'm looking forward to spying some sisterly love.)

  11. It's never too early for spring! This dress is adorable. And I would probably cease to live if I tried to exist in the snow. I'm wimpy like that.
