The Make Do challenge is over!  

I challenged my self for a total of  45 days. It was hard but I really wanted to change my patterns and my heart. The factor that made all the difference was prayer. I prayed to be more wise with money and with spending and I could tell that I received strength to fine tune and reform our family spending habits  (It helped to have a husband who was my money saving partner.)

I will admit that when the time was up I went straight to TJ Maxx and got a fun blouse. I am excited that while I was shopping I looked for stuff that would last, that had a good fit, and would work with the rest of my wardrobe. Nena, one of our readers, said, "My only tip is that when you try on something and look in the mirror you have to say yes right away to buy it. If you have to think about it chances are you won't wear it. But if you find yourself drawn to that item over and over again maybe splurge on it."
